iHateRadio is proud to welcome two new artists to our family of independent bands, that truly exemplify uniqueness and the power of independence. Both of these bands have been hard at work over the last few years, developing a unique, original sound, and spreading said sound around the country. We hope you enjoy these bands as much as we do!
We first experienced Consider the Source‘s original blend of face-melting sci-fi rock with a mid-eastern influence at Wild Woods Music and Arts Festival in Croydon, NH last year. We were treated to two sets that truly encompassed the full scale of what CtS is capable of, with one full-band electric set, and one stripped down acoustic set. A couple of weeks ago we got to sit down with the guys after their set at AURA Music and Arts Festival for a quick interview that you can check out below. We have one more CtS album to add to the library and our collection will be complete! Find out more about Consider the Source at www.considerthesourcemusic.com
What can we say about The Fritz other than you just have to experience this high-energy funky fusion Asheville, NC-based band for yourself! We’ve had the esteemed pleasure of seeing them a few times at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park festivals, and each time the pleasure grows. The Fritz has a Spring Tour heading all up and down the East Coast, so be sure to be keep tabs and get out to see them when they hit your area. We’re especially excited for their stop at The Great Outdoors Jam at Maddox Ranch in July! Check out their album Bootstrap, just added to the iHateRadio library, and visit www.thefritzmusic.com for more information.
